1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which Draviont Advisory LLC ("Draviont Advisory," "we," "our," or "us") may issue refunds for consulting services, strategy engagements, discovery sessions, advisory retainers, and related professional services. By purchasing or engaging our services, you agree to this Refund Policy in addition to our Terms of Service and any applicable Statement of Work, proposal, or service agreement.

Because our services are professional, time-based, intellectual, and customized to the needs of each client, refunds are limited and are evaluated based on the stage of work performed, resources allocated, and obligations already incurred.

2. Nature of Services

Draviont Advisory provides custom strategy consulting and advisory services. These services may include research, analysis, workshops, roadmapping, meetings, recommendations, documentation, and other bespoke deliverables prepared specifically for a client’s situation.

As a result, once work has been scheduled, started, or delivered, the value of our service often exists in time committed, expertise applied, internal preparation, and intellectual output already produced, even if final delivery is still in progress.

3. Payments and Billing Structure

Our services may be billed in one or more of the following ways:

  • Upfront fixed-fee project payments.
  • Milestone-based payments tied to agreed phases of work.
  • Monthly or recurring advisory retainers.
  • Discovery, audit, workshop, or consultation session fees.
  • Custom invoiced engagements under a Statement of Work or separate contract.

Specific billing terms, due dates, and refund terms set out in a client agreement, proposal, invoice, or Statement of Work will control to the extent they differ from this general policy.

4. Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility depends on the status of the engagement and the amount of work already performed.

Service Status Refund Position
Payment made, work not yet scheduled or started A full or partial refund may be available, subject to any non-refundable booking or administrative fees.
Work scheduled and resources allocated A partial refund may be issued at our discretion after deducting planning, scheduling, and administrative time already incurred.
Work has started Refunds are generally limited to any portion of fees covering work not yet performed or deliverables not yet begun.
Milestone completed or deliverable substantially provided Amounts attributable to completed milestones or delivered work are generally non-refundable.
Monthly retainer period already commenced Retainer fees for the current billing period are generally non-refundable once the service period has begun.

5. Non-Refundable Services and Fees

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following are generally non-refundable:

  • Completed consulting hours, meetings, workshops, or advisory calls.
  • Research, analysis, planning, and internal strategy development already performed.
  • Custom documents, presentations, recommendations, roadmaps, and deliverables already prepared in whole or in part.
  • Booking, reservation, onboarding, or administrative fees where specifically identified as non-refundable.
  • Third-party costs incurred on your behalf.
  • Any work completed under a signed milestone or accepted deliverable.

6. Client Cancellation

6.1 Before Work Begins

If you cancel an engagement before any substantive work begins, you may be eligible for a refund, less any reasonable administrative, reservation, scoping, or preparation costs already incurred.

6.2 After Work Begins

If you cancel after work has started, any refund will be limited to the unused portion of prepaid fees, if any, after deducting the value of services already performed, time already reserved, and any non-recoverable costs.

6.3 Scheduled Sessions

Consultation calls, strategy sessions, workshops, or similar booked sessions cancelled on short notice may be non-refundable if preparation time has already been committed or the timeslot cannot reasonably be reassigned.

7. Client Delays, Non-Participation, or Incomplete Information

Refunds will not normally be issued where project delays, outcomes, or interruptions result from the client’s failure to provide required information, approvals, access, feedback, or participation within a reasonable timeframe.

This includes, without limitation:

  • Failure to attend scheduled meetings or workshops.
  • Delayed responses that impact timelines or deliverables.
  • Failure to supply requested materials, data, credentials, or stakeholder access.
  • Internal client changes in priorities, staffing, budget, or leadership after the engagement has begun.

8. Exceptional Refund Circumstances

We may consider a partial or full refund in limited circumstances, including where:

  • We are unable to begin the engagement for reasons solely within our control.
  • We determine that we cannot reasonably deliver the agreed scope before substantial work has been completed.
  • A duplicate payment or billing error occurred.
  • A refund is otherwise required by applicable law.

Any discretionary refund does not waive our right to apply this policy in future cases and does not create a continuing obligation to issue refunds under similar circumstances.

9. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, you must contact us in writing and provide sufficient detail for us to review your request. Your request should include:

  • Your full name and company name.
  • The service purchased or engagement reference.
  • The date of payment.
  • The reason for the refund request.
  • Any supporting documentation relevant to the request.

Refund requests should be submitted promptly after the issue arises. Unreasonable delay in submitting a request may affect our ability to review or approve it.

10. Refund Processing Time

If a refund is approved, we will process it using the original payment method where reasonably possible, unless otherwise required or agreed. Approved refunds are typically initiated within ten (10) business days of the final refund decision, though actual posting times may vary depending on the payment provider, banking institution, or card issuer.

We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial institutions, payment processors, or card networks once the refund has been submitted.

11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe a charge was made in error, we ask that you contact us first before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Initiating a chargeback without first attempting resolution may delay review and may require us to submit relevant engagement records, communications, invoices, agreements, and proof of work performed to the payment processor or financial institution.

Where a chargeback is filed for services that were validly purchased, scheduled, or delivered, we reserve all rights available to us under applicable law and contract.

12. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, billing practices, operational requirements, or legal obligations. Any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. The version in effect at the time of purchase or contract execution will generally apply to that transaction unless otherwise required by law.
